Any resident Indians above the age of 18 years are eligible to open an Trading account. Trading account can be opened for Individuals, Sole Proprietor, HUF, Trust, Company and Partnership Firm.

Equity, Commodity, and Currency account can be opened with Apollo Money.
How do I open a trading account with Apollo Money ?
There are 2 ways for opening a trading account with Apollo Money:
A. By Phone
Call 044-71300300, and if your are from Chennai our executive will fix up an appointment with you at the time convenient to you to complete the formalities required for opening an account.
B. Email
Drop us an email with your name and contact number at enquiry@apollomoney.com, we will contact you and take the address details. We will forward the account opening kit to your address by courier / Post.
If you are returning the duly signed application kit along with the required documents within 7 calendar days, we will waive the account opening charges
What are the documents required for opening an account?
The following are the list of documents required:

b. Proof of Address – Copy of any one of the following (Self Attested)

What are the account opening charges?
Rs. 300/-(Rupees Three Hundred only) is collected as account opening charges for opening trading account of NSE , BSE , MCX and Demat account with CDSL.This charge is collected towards Printing & Stationary, Power of Attorney Stamp paper , SEBI KYC Registration charges and Central KYC registration charges ( CERSAI )
How long does it take to open an account?
After you have submitted the relevant documents and if the same are proper in order, it takes 48-72 hours for getting the account activated.
What are the different modes available for trading in Apollo Money?
Client can trade through NOW Software (exe), Web based trading platform and Mobile and Tablet based trading.
What documents will I receive after filling an Apollo Money Trading Account opening form ?
You will receive welcome kit containing, welcome letter mentioning the credentials provided in the account opening form like address, contact particulars i.e. email id, mobile number , Details of bank and DP a/c, applicable brokerage rates ,detailed policy and procedure document and delivery instruction booklet of demat account
How do I receive the log in ID and password for the first time?
Once your account is opened, you will receive the user credentials consisting of user id, login & transaction passwords on your registered email id from support@nowonline.in
Our customer support team will contact you and do the on boarding assistance like installation of trading software, give brief explanation on trading products, guidance of how to place orders, access reports and other operational aspects like making payment of funds to trading account and withdrawal of funds etc..

How can I unlock the online trading password?
The unlocking of the online trading passwords can be done by calling the support number 044: 71300300.
Unlocking request received through the phone, shall be done subject to basic details of verification like PAN, DOB etc…
Once the user credentials are verified, the account will be unlocked.

What is an dormant Client Account?
A Client account will be considered as inactive if the client account is in operative for a period of 12 months i.e. 360 calendar days
What will happen to the funds or Securities lying with Apollo Money?
If the account is tagged as a dormant / inactive then the surplus Funds or Securities lying shall be refunded / returned to clients at his/her Bank account / DP account as mentioned in the account opening form.
How to Re-activate an inactive / dormant account?
The client can reactivate his/her trading account by sending the scanned copy of dormant account reactivation form duly signed from his/her registered email id or by submitting a physical hard copy to the following address:

What are the different products offered by Apollo Money?
The products offered by Apollo Money. are:
MIS – Margin Intraday Square off
MIS is an Intraday trading product wherein the clients are leveraged with higher exposure against credit limit which can be either in form of cash / security or combination of both.

The positions taken in MIS, Apollo Money shall trigger auto square off at 3: 15 pm, wherein all open positions will be squared off at the market price.

The customers shall trade in Equities and Derivatives segment under this MIS product.
Apollo Money currently allows more than 700 + securities to trade under this product
For equities, the exposure on margins is allowed between 7 to 10 times or exchange VAR margins whichever is higher
For derivatives futures segment, it shall be 50 % of exchange margins (Span + Exposure margins)
For Options – Buying requires only premium to be paid.
For Selling options it requires 50 % of exchange margins (Span and Exposure margins )
Note: Customers placing options buy order in product MIS, though 100 % premium is upfront paid it will get squared off automatically during admin auto square off session, since it is placed in intraday product
Customers wish to carry forward the options are advised to place the order in NRML product
Customers has the option to convert the open positions from MIS to CNC (Delivery) or Normal (BTST), before the auto square off cut –off time subject to making availability of clear funds
Any positions that are not squared off in MIS for reasons beyond the control of Apollo Money such as price band freeze, technical issues, etc. will be converted as delivery and the resulting consequence thereof if any shall have to be borne by the clients
NORMAL (NRML)
Normal product is a delivery based product wherein customers will be allowed to carry forward the buy positions, subject to maintaining minimum of 25 % of the purchased value or VAR Margin whichever is higher for T + 2 days, and for another 5 days i.e. (T + 2 + 5) by another additional 25 % thereby totaling 50 % of the purchased value for selected 700 securities.
The maximum purchase limit per client shall be up to a value 10 lacs and Rs.5 lacs for each individual securities.
This upfront 25 % margin can be deposited either in the form of cash or securities or combination of both
For Carry forwarding the positions beyond T + 2 days, additional 25 % margin is required in the form of Cash. This can also be provided by way of selling other stocks.
In case of Derivatives, 100% of Total margin (Span+ Exposure) is required to carry forward (NRML) positions.
Cash and Carry (CNC)
Cash and Carry (CNC) is the delivery based trading product where Purchase is against 100 % payment of funds and selling against DP holdings.
This product is available for trade in Equity segment of NSE & BSE
What is Cash and Carry (CNC)?
Cash and Carry (CNC) is the delivery based trading product where Purchase is against 100 % payment of funds and Selling against DP Holdings.
This product is useful for customers to sell the collateral stocks deposited with us & purchased stocks under temporary funding
This product is available for trade in capital market segments.
Can we buy any other securities, against selling done in CNC?
Yes, the customers shall be allowed to buy any securities only to the extent of selling value.
Can we take positions in MIS or Normal against sale done in CNC?
Yes, the customers shall be allowed to take fresh positions either in MIS or Normal against CNC sell by doing the position conversion from trade book either to MIS or Normal
What are the securities that I can sell in CNC?
You can sell any securities that are available in your Demat Account having the market lot as 1
What are the exchange and segment I will be able to trade in MIS?
The customers shall trade in Equities and Derivatives segment under this product
What happens if I leave my position open in MIS?
If you leave your positions open i.e. un squared before the defined cut off time 3 : 15 pm, Apollo Money shall cancel all the outstanding orders that have been placed under this product during the cut-off time and do Auto Square off at market price.
Do I have to compulsorily square up the trades under MIS?
Yes, you have to square up the trades under MIS. If you do not square up the trades then Apollo Money will square up the open positions at the pre determined time. However you have option to transfer the trades under MIS to CNC / Normal provided you have provided the adequate funds
I have 100 % cash margin, but I have taken position in MIS, what will happen to my open position?
Though you have 100 % cash margin for MIS position, all open positions (Buy / Sell) will be squared off at the cut off time i.e. 3: 15, to avoid square off do the position conversion either to CNC or Normal
What is the margin requirement for Buy / Sell in Normal?
For Equities, Margin requirement for Normal product is 25 % or exchange VAR margins which ever is higher
What are the exchange and segment I will be able to trade in Normal?
The customers shall trade in Equities and Derivatives segment under this product
I have taken positions in MIS, but I need to convert my positions to Normal / CNC what should I have to do?
To convert your positions from MIS to Normal / CNC, you need to allocate additional margins i.e. difference of margin between MIS to Normal, MIS to CNC, either in Cash / Securities
What happens to my position, if i fail to meet the margin commitment before the stipulated period?
If you fail to honor the minimum margin commitment before the stipulated period, Apollo Money will liquidate the open positions and the profit / losses, if any, arising on liquidation will credited / debited to the client account
I have securities in My Demat Account, can I use the same for the exposure and what is the limit I will get?
No, Apollo Money doesn’t give exposures against the exchange approved collateral securities that are available in your demat account.
I want to trade in derivative segments, which product should I have to select?
For Trading in Derivatives segment, you shall select either MIS or Normal
MIS - Auto square off on same day
Normal – Carry forward
What is the margin requirement for trading in derivative segment under the product MIS and Normal?

If you want to Buy options, you need to select the product as Normal, and the margin requirement is 100 % i.e. Premium * Lot size

If you want to write options, (Sell) you need to select the product as Normal, and the margin requirement is Span + Exposure margin
Can we do short selling on intraday?
Yes, you can do “Intra-day” short selling. However, such sell positions need to be squared off before the specified time i.e. before the end of the settlement
